If you've never been, the Louvre is *astonishing*. And if you end up spending the day there, definitely pick up the audio tour. I've never been a huge fan of museums, but we spent two solid days in the Louvre, and I could easily have spent two more.
Go to Versailles. It's a pretty short train ride and it can be a little crowded but it's definitely worth the trip.

The Louvre is an amazing must see stop! I was disappointed with Versailles...
