I'm confused by the beginning of this post.... What debate? There can be no debate about the merits of Journey vs. Boston. There's no contest. Steve Perry is the trump card.

You are missing some classic Birthday Party tracks--Mr. Clarinet, Nick the Stripper, The Friend Catcher, Release the Bats, etc. Gotta get Prayers on Fire--actually get the Birthday Party Hits and go from there. You won't be sorry!
